Webeteer follows a very strict development procedure, a development procedure that has led to the publication of over 150+ e-commerce websites in the last couple years. How’s it done?
Initial Conversation
During the initial consultation, an account manager at Webeteer will discuss the goals of your website, products and/or services that you offer, pages that your website requires, website designs that you may like (inspiration to create your website design) and which content management system we will integrate your website with.
Design
Webeteer’s artist will begin drafting up the homepage of your website displaying multiple color and font variations in separate drafts. Feedback will be welcomed and the drafts will be revised. Once the homepage has been approved, the design for the inner pages of the website will begin. At this point in the development process, there will be no programming. The website design will be demoed on a third party application Webeteer uses to compile design feedback.
Initial Integration into the Content Management System (HTML / CSS)
Once the design drafts have been fully approved by yourself and colleagues, Webeteer will set up a development server and begin coding the website into the desired Content Management System previously discussed. Updates during the development process will be sent daily, displaying your new website on a backend link only accessible to yourself, colleagues and development staff.
During this stage, the content must be drafted and prepared to be uploaded on to your new website.
Data Migration
If your company has an existing website, Webeteer will migrate all content to the new website, free of charge. This is inclusive of all orders, customer information, products and any other information vital to your e-commerce websites success.
Logic and Payment & Shipping Integration
During this phase of the project, development staff will begin integrating the site’s functionality (Out Of The Box Functionality), synch the front end with the backend (admin/database), hyperlink all your websites pages together and integrate your payment gateway and shipping modules.

If your website offers shipping, integration of your shipping modules will be made available in your e-commerce website.
Mobile & Tablet Optimization
Once the website design has been fully integrated into the Content Management System, testers will ensure that the delivery of the pages are cosmetically structured and optimized for all resolutions inclusive of mobile and tablet devices.
Launch
Final sign-off will be sent to your business and colleagues. Domain registrar access must be provided along with hosting login information. If you are unsure of either, our account agents will be more than willing to set this up for you, complimentary. During this process, Webeteer will ask whether you’d like emails to be created using your domain. Google Page insights and GTMetrix will be fully optimized, Google Analytics and Google Webmaster tools will be complementarity integrated. Your website will be published/indexed onto popular Search Engines.
